After choosing your hearing aids, you’ll be invited for a hearing aid fitting. This appointment is to make sure your hearing aids are fitting you well and are comfortable to wear.
Can using hearing aids accelerate hearing loss?
Using hearing aids will not accelerate hearing loss, provided they are properly fitted and programmed correctly for your level of hearing.
Can hearing aids be repaired?
Your audiologist can help determine what type of repair is needed for your hearing aid. Minor fixes can be done relatively quickly in the office. If a more serious problem is found it will have to be sent to the manufacturer.
